Hello kitty prototype mask

Today I was thinking of making another cardboard kitty again since I had another big piece of cardboard but once I was about to start I just felt way to tired for it :/. But i kept playing around with the white paper I had and got the idea of making a Hello Kitty mask. i tried alot of different shapes before I settled for this one. For a second I thought I could make masks for all of the kids, untill I remembered ”Noooo waaay, there’s gonna be freaking 40+ kids there!!!”.  But iI liked this one so much that I think I will make a new and better one for my cousin Carla (Belens mother). I think she’d love to have one ^^. But for the next one I make ill have to place the eye-holes alot better, I could hardly see in this one. Although… her eyes might not have the same separation width as mine.. hmm. Tricky.

From all of this Hello Kitty-thinking Im already getting tired of her. She’s still cute and all but now whenever Im drawing her Im totally serious, she doesnt make me giddy anymore. Im becoming Hello Kitty – resistant. Tomorrow after work I’ll be going to help my cousin and her family to set up all the hello kitty ornaments and stuff they have for the party on saturday. This is starting to look like such a ”sweeet six-teeen” :D.
