Pouring skies & surfing cars

It’s been raining like craazy today!

I went to Kreatima earlier today to use my giftcard I got on my birthday, and while waiting at the busstop I got some kool photos of the cars driving on the rainy streets. I got soaking wet just by runing to my busstop, sooaking wet! My leggings felt like a freaking wetsuit for the rest of the day. But I love it, the rain i mean ^^. It’s thundering a bit too, feels cosy <3.

btw, I bought alot of fun stuff at kreatima today, amongst them 2 pencils I’ll prbably show you later on. Im  of for now tho, take care!

Three little puggies

Here are some shots of the pugs I made today. I wanted to do 4 but I got so tired after the first one that the production went sloower and sloower by the minuit. I’m pretty happy with these tho. Tomorrow i’ll paint them too :].

Pug workshop

Goodmorning people!

I’ve just finnished clearing the table to have room with all of my clay tools and thingies again. Today I’m gonna make some pug figures ^^. I started of by googleing a bunch of pugs to study their features and get some inspiration. I drawed a very rough sketch too so I have something to look at as I work.While I’m working I also have my little helper next to me, Lulis! <3

She helps out by.. sleeping. Intensly. :]

Tilting pugs

Today I’ve been thinking of doing some new clay figures and this time the theme will be: Pugs!
I googled for images at first and then came across this cute video on youtube :D.

The tilting pugs! I love it when their tilts are syncronized ^^. Lula also tilts her head whenever I ask her a question, but she doest rotate her face as much as these cuties do ^^.

A Fire in our building!

Hello! I’m alive! The craziest thing just happened. It was about 02:30 when my boyfriend walks out into the kitchen and says he smells smoke (?). I instantly think I’d left the stove on but it seems to be coming from outside. When we look out we realize there’s 3 police cars and 3 fire-trucks standing right outside our building, infront of our entrance! :0

We start getting a bit scared since the smoke felt pretty heavy, it smelled alot like burnt plastic and it made my eyes sting a bit. Our initial thought was to grab our stuff; keys, cellphone,  the cat and get out of the house but when we opened our door to get out in the stairwell the smoke was so thick that it looked foggy and the smell started coming in to the hallway. Ok, by now it might seem like there were flames in our appartment, but it wasnt quite that bad. The smoke was starting to scare us tho, so we called 112 (Swedens ”911″ number) to ask them what the hell to do since the stairwell was so smokey and they told us to just stay inside.

My instinct was to keep my shoes and jacket on and for some reason fill a bucket with water. It felt safe >_<. The fire-trucks and police cars went away just about 30 minuits ago and now it 05:00. I have definately not been able to go to bed while they still were outside. I would expect to get some typ of information when something like this happens, but nothing! What if it was a huuge fire, how would we have known how big the risk was? We had no any idea of how big the fire was or where it was burning. I think it wa pretty close to us, just a floor or two close to us. I hope no one got hurt :/.

Me and my boyfriends are going to go out for a little walk soon to see how things are looking from the outside. I leave you with some pictures, because, ofcourse when you are facing a scary situation like this the first thing you think  is ”ooh.. I should put this on my blog!..Just need to take pretty pictures..” :D

6 Cow heads

Hello again everyone, I hope you’re having a nice weekend! ^^ Here are some photos of my clay-play from yesterday.

I manage to do quite alot with my clay idea :D. I now have 6 different cowfaces. I managed to do them all quite quickly this time. Before when I’ve worked with clay I have for some reason chosen to carve the shapes out, why I dont know, because it goes alot faster and easier if you put together all the parts piece by peace. For example rolling the eyeballs ass little balls first that you just stick into the head. Now in heinseight its seems obvious ^^.

Anyways, now I have 6 cow heads, all with different expressions. I finnished painting almost all of them this morning too but I’ll show it to you once they are a 100% done :].

A day of clay

Hi people! ^^

These last 3 days I’ve been off work and its been really nice. It’s been impossible to focus on work these last weeks since its been so damn hot, and it’s nice to have time to focus on my own stuff now ^^. Today I thought I’d play with some clay so I’ve taken out all of my materials :]. I didnt know what to do at first but I think I have some kool ideas now. I did some sketches of some cows I plan to do.. thats all I say for now :D. If it turns out cool you’ll see the outcome later on ^^.

Less text and more pictures

Here is one of the presents I got for my birthday, I started reading it yesterday on my way home from work. :]
My boyfriend knows Im not good at reading books (eventhough I enjoy it once i actually start), but he knew I liked the book ”Snabba cash” that was written by Jens Lapidus. Smart and cute as he is he bought a book with the perfect combination for me, a book thats written by Jens Lapidus and drawn as a comic book! Meaning less text and more pictures :D.

Finding tutorials on youtube ^^

Yesterday I got the great idea of searching ”how to friendship bracelet” on Youtube and to my suprise I found loads of tutorials on how to do different types of friendship bracelets, with gorgeous patterns! Like the one above ^^. This exact video was a bit difficult to understand tho, but I’d like to learn how to do that heart pattern :].

I should search for videotutorials much more often, its so practical. Whenever you wonder how to do something theres thousands of videos out there telling you exactly what to do ^^.

Identity crisis

the blog’s been going through an Identity crisis.

I’ve been trying to give it a new design, and I’ve got loads of ideas and tests on how it could look but nothing feels right! I dont want the design to be so strong that it takes focus from the actual posts, but at the same time I want the blog to have a kool and strong identity.. :/. I think Im trying way to hard and need a more strict plan on what to do with it. Right now Im just sketching a million different ideas and trying all of them, wich is getting extremely time consuming and tiring.

For now the blog will stay pretty bare, I’ll keep working and adding on it within time. Hopefully this way it will get a thoguht-through and natural design that makes sense :].

Btw, Thanks to you guys who actually did like my previous design! I really appreciated your nice comments, but hopefully you’ll like the future design just as much, or even more. (Just wanted to let you know that I do take your feedback in consideration :] )

What if I…?

Here’s a little drawing I made yesterday. It’s been really long since I sketched non-digital. I drew this with an ordinary graphite pencil. I used to loove drawing with graphite, and I still do, but I feel I need to practice some more again. When drawing this girl I also realized I’m not as good at anatomy as I used to be. When I was younger I always studied faces in magazines and photos so It was kind of etched in my mind, how the human anatom looked, but now that I havent thought of it the last years It’s kind of faded away. I should also invest in a harder graphite pen and smoother paper so the shading doesnt get as grainy as on this one.

In case you havent noticed it yet I’m very much of a perfectionist ^^.

Dreamy ice cream

Yesterday I realized I had ice cream, waffle cones and sprinkles at home. This ice cream was meant to be!

Here’s some photos from this weekend when I went out for a BBQ with my family and boyfriend.

The sun has been booiling hot for over a week now. Us Swedes aren’t used to this kind of tropical heat :D, atleast not here! It was about 30 degrees when I took these photos. Poor Lula was drying up in the heat so we threw her into the water :].

Happy birthday to meee!

Today I’m turning 22! Yet another step into adulthood.

For every year now it’s egtting more and more clear that you are as old as you feel.  Age is nothing but a number. I remember when I was small and thought that people in their twenties were ”grown ups”. Perception is relative ^^.

These last couple of days I’ve been trying to finnish my new blog design but now I’ve made about 30 different types >_<. I’ll try not to work on it today, and just focus on eating some good food and having a nice time with my family.

Btw, I’ve allready seen some of the presents I’m getting, they’re awesome! :’). I’ll probably show it to you in a couple of days. Now I’m off, hope you guys have a nice day!
