White Christmas

It has been many years since I experienced a christmas as white as the one we’ve had now. It started snowing for about 2 weekes ago and since then it kept snowing every single day :].

I should try to take some nice shots of this beautiful white winterlandscape before it all disapears.

Lula doesnt like the snow very much, whenever we go out she does her business within about 15 seconds and runs back to the house. ^^

Back from a Merry Christmas

I wish you all had a nice christmas!

I had a nice christmas and got loads of presents ^^, so many that I actually felt bad about it.

It makes it feel better about me blowing my budget a bit on my christmasgifts for them :], it makes it all level out a bit ^^.

I got alot of really cool presents, the biggest suprise of all was that I got a sewingmachine! My own sewingmachine :’) <3. I used to use my moms and since Im not at home that very often I rarely get to finnish my sewing projects as fast as i would want to. Now I’ll be able to have my own little factory, awesome >_<.

I got a few things too play with too, such as modeling clay :D. I finnshed my first little clay experiment today. I made a tiny deer. I’t looks a bit like an alien but still pretty kool. I also got reeaally pretty wooden beads. Gah! I will have to do an entry for all of these single things later on ^^.

These last days Ive been on a mission looking through photoalbums.

We have soo many beautiful old photos but we frame very few of them. I thought I’d find some old photos of both of my grandmoms so I can enlarge them, frame them and give away to my parents for christmas (Dont worry, they dont read my blog ^^). Both of my grandmoms have passed away and my dads mom has been really difficult to find photos of. They are all either blurry, too bright or too dark. On most of them she’s also looking away from the camera,she’s very mysterious my grandma ^^.

Ive been scanning them to my computer these last days ( I hate HP!) and Ive been trying to fix and retouch some of them in photoshop. They are very scratchy and the colour and light levels in them are way of so Ive been able to fix them quite well. :]

I’ll try to finnish them today so I can send them of to Fuji (not fiji) tomorrow :].

Ice cream makes you happy

I was feeling a little down today so I made myself a big bowl of icecream with chopped banana, pears and sprinkles! I was supposed to selfpity-eat and feel sorry for myself but the damn icecream made me happier again >_<. Damn you icecream for ruining my pity-time!

Lula joined me for a while since she was pretty bored and low. I gave her some icecream too tho and it seemed to make her energized.

Conclusion: Ice cream makes you happy.

Santa mode

I just got awesome ideas for gifts to give away but they’re so many now that I have to start calculating the costs. >_<

I always come up with about 4-5 gift ideas per peson, what I often forget is to keep in mind how many people i want to give presents to :D. So its time for editing and strategizing. And yes, i do take christmas very seriously ^^.

Christmas gift list

A couple of days ago I started my annual superplanned christmas gift list.

Not being satisfyed by writing the list on a regular notepaper as normal people do i had to cut, paste and create this little red cardboard envelope + christmasdog and tree :D. Some would call this a waste of time, i call it the little joys in life ^^.

Just to clarify, this is not a wish list, but a list were i wrote down all of the gift ideas that I have in mind for my peeps (family, boyfriend, and doggy ofcourse). Now Im just wondering If I’ve hidden it well enough :/. I cant imagine someone seeing this and not open it right away :D.

Some photos from Chile 2006

I was looking through an old album from when I went to Chile almost 4 years ago. My entire family is from there, I however was born here in Sweden :]. The reason that I even went through that album again is because Im thinking of developing some photos from that trip… perhaps a christmas present for someone?.. >_<

This was the last year our entire family was in Chile together and the last time I met my grandmother who died two years after. <3

These photos are taken in several different cities in Chile such as a tiny village called Salamanca, a bigger city called Serena,and bigger cities such as Viña and Valparaiso.

A Coca Cola christmas

Whenever I think of christmas i start hearing ”Holidays are coming, holidays are coming” and I imagine the big Coca cola truck drving through a winterland all lit up by christmas lights. ^^

Its from a Coca cola tv -commercial they’ve been sending every christmas for yeears and I love it! I added a picture of it, you will probably recognize it. I assume they show the same one all over the world. (?)

While thinking of how I connect christmas with coca cola i started googling images of ”coca cola christmas” and found lots of gorgeous advertising images. I love the vintage looking Santa claus, I’d love to print them out and use them as postcards, they’re gorgeous!

Besides the lovely Santa clause images I also found a picture of an other old tv commercial that I was fascinated by when it showed on tv. It was an animated commercial where a polarbear family drinks coke. Dont remember the plot really but I remember that it was really beautiful. Theres pictures of that commercial too. :]

Crochet earrings

Here’s a pair of earrings I crochet a couple of days ago!

The brown thread I used was pretty stiff so they keep their round shape at all times ^^.

Once I got the idea to crochet these I did two other shapes too in beige and turquoise thread but I havent put them together yet.

I really like organic looking jewelery made by wooden beads and such. Unfortunately almost all the beads I have left are plastic or glass ones, Im hoping to buy some new cheap wooden beads on an auction in about a week :].

And so the jewelery factory continues…
