They’re caught in a UFO

I mentioned it in my last post that my tamagotchi one day apeared to be in a ufo, well.. now I still cant get them out of it!

Now its been about 3 days since they’ve been flying in it and theres nothing I can do. Wasnt I a good enough parent? Didnt I scoop their poop often enough? Are they leaving me in a ufo to find a new planet and start a better life without me? :/

I think I’ll have to press the tiny little grey button and reset it, I will have to erase my Tama family. :|

Birthday gifts

The 13th of July it was my brithday and eversince I got my gifts Ive been meaning to make an entry of them, so here they are now ^^. From seeing what I got it might look like I just turned 8 years old :D but Im not! Usually every year people want me to mention what it is that I want but this year I had no idea. When I was little I started writing my wishlist and researching for cool things weekes before my birthday. Now I pretty much have everything I need, apart from all the things I got tho! :D They were all very nice suprises. ^^

By the way, Tamaguchis are not easy to manage, do you see how they only have three buttons? I had a hard time figuring that thing out at first :D. The tamaguchis are alot more advanced now too. They travel, connect with other tamaguchis and can even go to ”dating shows” to find a new partner and make babies :D. I have 2 parents and 3 kids in my tamaguchifamily now. Apparantly I will be able to keep making new generations all the time. Im the TAMA GOD!

Whats funny is that yesterday I checked it out to see if any of them had pooped or something and saw an image of a pixel-UFO flying with twinkling stars around it. Sometimes they start playing on their own when your not using your tamaguchi but now they seem to be in a spaceship I cant get them out of :S. I pressed all of the 3 buttons but nothing happens :/. Have to go check them soon to see if they have landed or something.

Yesterday I started cleaning up the mess we had at home and started sorting out some of my boyfriends vinyl records. He used to sample music for when he did beats but now they’re just collecting dust. While organizing them i realized how pretty some of them were so I thought ”oh! this could be a kontain entry!”. And now it is… ^^

We were thinking of framing some of them too, it could look really kool.. :]

Stockholm Jazz Festival 2009

As you might have read I went to Stockholms jazzfestival this weekend with my boyfriend. I tried to take as many shots as possible in between dancing and complaining about how much my feet hurt from standing all day.

I was going to write a long summary of all the performances I saw but it was waay to long so heres the shorter version… :D

My favourite performances:

1st place: RAUL MIDÒN! waah, definately the best performances of all. If you havent seen him you should! He plays the guitarr amazingly and makes music as if he was a entire band.Playing the trumpet with only his mouth, drumming the guitarr while playing and somehow doing these other noices Ive never heard a guitar make. His performance was maagical! ^^ At one point when he sang his song ”sunshine” he let the audience sing and i must say, ive never heard an audience sing as beautiful as the one at jazz festival did :D. it sounded like a choir of angels! ^^ beauutiful. Go see him!

2nd place: Titiyo! For a beautiful, personal, heartwarming performance. I never thought she’d be one of my favourites but her songs were soo beautiful played live. amazing!

3rdplace: Leela James! She was awesome :D. She came out on stage with such high energy and an amazingly strong voice to match it. She made a party out of the whole performance, getting the audience up on stage, dancing with the shy sound-guy that was so embarassed he couldnt even look at her and then finnishing the performance of by just playing Michael Jackson songs and making the audience dance along with her and her band who were dancing to all of his hits! AWESOME!!

4th place Estelle! She was so much fun and really down to earth. Her talks in between the songs were just as great as the songs :D. Hooray for Estelle!

There were alot of others cool performances too but these were the most memorable ones ^^.

After the last day my feet were sooo soar from standing all day I could barely walk home. Oh well, had to end my vacation with a bang ^^.

A great weekend

About two weeks ago I won a ticket to Stockholms jazzfestival! :D Me and my boyfriend ended up going for the two final days, the line up was pretty niiice. It was a great finnish to our two week vacation, but now Im back to work, back to our lovely cperspective… :] And since Im working I cant make this post much longer than this :D.

A day at skansen

This wednesday I went to Skansen with my boyfriend, at last!

It was a superhot day and we had a great time. I tried to take as many shots as possible. I thought there would be alot more animals tho but the animal-part only takes up about 15% of Skansen. I wish I could have seen more exotic animals, but at the same time, I wouldnt really want to see them locked up in cages. It would be cooler to see them in their natural habitat.

Sad statistics

Well.. havent kontained in a while. Ive been feeling pretty shitty. It happens from time to time, one day I just feel low and bored and it sticks with me for a couple of days. Thought I had to kontain something at least so I just made statistics of my mood over this past week :D. I start of as a happy banana and end up as a spotty brown sad one.

I actually started on a new threadless print today too.. ahh all of these projects, always half-finnished..life.

According to my statistics some more love and hamburgers would be the solution to my problems ^^, could work.

Thankyou Michael

Today I went shopping with my tiny good friend Claudia. When we first got to T-centralen we looked at the tiny MJ memorial that fans had made by a pelar and then kept talking about him throughout the whole day. All the stores were playing his songs and once in H&M they played jacksons five ”I want you back” and I just wanted to loudly sing the song and dance to it and start a party right then and there but it didnt seem apropriate so I sang it quietly for my self ^^. After an extreme day of shoping (about 6 hours!) I rememberd I had a notebook in my bag and got the idea of drawing him a picture to leave at the memorial.

I took some shots of the drawing i made and the tiny memorial the fans had made. Its really tiny but theres alot of flowers and notes were people have written their last words to Michael. :] I loved Michael when I was little and I hade 2 History tapes that were about the most awesome things I owned :D.

The Chiquita banana girl

After posting yesterdays entry I started thinking of the real women with the hat made out of fruits, The chiquita banana girl.

tried to find a picture of her as i remembered her and got more and more curious over this character. I found some great and funny commercials of chiquita banana from the 40′s, 50′s and 90′s!

I hadn’t ever seen the 40′s version of her were she’s a banana singing overly informative songs while dancing seductively :D. I definately prefer the 40′s-50′s version of her, the 90s version (the one I was familiar with) is so boring compared to her. And what’s going on in the 90′s video? Is it supposed to be Michael Jacksons foot that they cut in now and then? Did that give it awesome-points back then? :D As an old Michael Jackson fan it probably would have impressed me actually.. ^^.

By the way, In the 50′s commercial she sings of putting bananas in a sallad(?), I’ve never seen a salad with bananas in it, have you?

Melon earrings

Here are some earrings I made about a year ago :]

One day when I was shopping in H&M I saw these earrings on sale but back then they were just plain wooden earrings with no color, they cost like 10kr (wich is nothing!). And when things are so cheap I’ts impossible not to buy them. ^^

At first I didnt know what to make of them but then it hit me, ”melons of course!” (?). As you might have noticed I am in some fruity phase. I find them so exotic, colourful and happy. All thats missing now Is a hat made of fruit on my head.. ^^
